All garage or yard sales within the City of Clare must have a permit issued by the City. The purpose of this permit is to regulate sales. No resident may have more than two (2) garage or yard sales within a year. There will be a fine for all non-permitted garage or yard sales within the City Limits.
The charge for this permit is $1.00, to be paid at the time you return your permit to Clare City Hall. Please note: the form availaible on this site is not the actual permit, only the application. A permit will be issued to you when the application is returned to Clare City Hall. The permit is void unless validated by the City Clerk or her representative.
